  • IMS will have complimentary masks available for guest entering the venue. Masks or face coverings will be required throughout the facility for all guests over the age of 4.

  • Be patient and adhere to physical distancing requirements at gates, restrooms, concession and merchandise stands, and elsewhere throughout the venue.

Concessions and Merchandise

All concession stands and merchandise locations at Iowa Speedway are cashless this year. Tap-to-pay phone payments will be accepted, as will credit and debit transactions.

Parking

Parking at Iowa Speedway is available in a variety of locations outside the track. There is no general spectator parking allowed in the infield. Paid public parking is available in various locations. Motorcycle parking is located just inside the Rusty Wallace Drive Entrance. ADA parking is located on Tunnel Road, using the Lincoln Entrance.

We have collected several questions over the course of the last 12 months regarding the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend, to which we have listed several of them below. Can I bring food into the track?

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring in any outside food through the Iowa Speedway gates. You may bring food for tailgaiting and RV purposes, of course, and you can purchase food at either of the the Hy-Vee Mini Markets. There are also food concession stands within the gates you may purchase food from.

What is there to do at the track?

In addition to world-class racing and entertainment, several vendors will be set up along the midway offering endless opportunities of activation. Food trucks and a beer garden will be set up and operating throughout the day. A permanent stage on the concourse will feature activities ranging from driver Q&A to live music and many other acts. Fans can also purchase Garage Passes to enhance their track experience.

Will food and beverage be available for sale at Iowa Speedway?

Food and beverage services will operate during open gate hours. Full-service concessions stands will be serving a variety of both food and beverage. An assortment of food trucks will be stationed at both ends of the midway selling signature foods. A beer garden located at one end of the midway will serve alcoholic beverages to fans 21 and over. Beverage stations will be located throughout the concourse, as well. NOTE: Iowa Speedway will operate as a cashless venue for this event. All food/beverage service will be cashless.

Are water fountains available at Iowa Speedway?

Water bottle filling stations will be located throughout the Iowa Speedway concourse. Fans are welcome to bring an insulated, empty cup, stainless steel, or similar reusable water bottle – maximum size of 64 oz.

What are the pop-up Hy-Vee Mini Markets?

Hy-Vee will have two pop-up Mini Markets located near the entry gates for both RV Hill and the general camping area at Iowa Speedway. The pop-up stores will operate throughout race weekend and will sell convenience store items for guests in the RV and general campgrounds. NOTE: Iowa Speedway will operate as a cashless venue for this event. All food/beverage service will be cashless.

What forms of payment are accepted at the venue?

The Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend will be cashless throughout the three-day event at Iowa Speedway. All concessions stands, food trucks, along with Hy-Vee concessions and pop-up stores, will only accept digital or card payments during race weekend. Reverse ATMs will be also available in the Midway area for cash conversion.

If needed, will first aid/medical care be available?

Trained medical personnel will be on site at the first aid stations located on the concourse during open gate hours on race weekend. Specific locations of the first aid stations can be found on the venue map. In the case of an emergency, medical personnel will respond immediately. Any guests that need assistance should locate a guest services representative or call Iowa Speedway at (641) 840-1649.

Is there a dress code?

Individuals should not wear clothing that has inappropriate, abusive messages or images on it. The clothing worn should also offer appropriate body coverage that abides by the public nature of this event. Closed-toe shoes are recommended but not required.

Can I listen to the race broadcast?

All NTT INDYCAR SERIES and Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires practices, qualifications and races during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend will be broadcast live through the INDYCAR Radio Network and can be heard through the INDYCAR App Powered by NTT DATA, free to all fans regardless of cellular carrier. Both NTT INDYCAR SERIES races will also be aired live locally on 101.3 FM and 1700 AM “The Champ.”

Additionally, we are pleased to inform that radio scanners WILL be available to rent through Twin Power Scanner, located in the Iowa Speedway Concourse.

Can I rent a radio scanner at Iowa Speedway?

We are pleased to inform that radio scanners WILL be available to rent through Twin Power Scanner, located in the Iowa Speedway Concourse.

Is Wi-Fi available at Iowa Speedway?

Wi-Fi service will be available for use inside the gates of Iowa Speedway. Wi-Fi service will not be available in the parking lots and beyond.

What should I do if I have lost an item?

Any guests that have lost an item at the track during race weekend should check with Ticket Booth 2 or contact Iowa Speedway Here. Any items found should be returned to Ticket Booth 2.
