On race weekend, will guests be allowed to leave the track and re-enter through the ticket gates later in the day?
Yes, guests can exit the facility and return to their vehicles throughout each day and their valid tickets for that day’s activities will be scanned again when they re-enter through the Iowa Speedway ticket gates.
Will guests have access to the infield/garage area at Iowa Speedway during the July 12-14 race weekend?
Fans who hold a valid Pit or Garage Pass can also access the infield.
What are the ticket options if I have a large group attending the race weekend?
Fans can purchase up to 10 tickets online. Groups of 10 or more should contact the Ticket Office by email at tickets@hyveeindycarweekend.com to review seating options with a ticketing representative.
What are some of the features of the seating areas at Iowa Speedway?
There are no covered seats at Iowa Speedway. All non-Club sections (100’s, 200’s, 300’s and 400’s) are benches with seat backs. All Club seats are individual stadium-style seats with backs. What are the seating, parking and facility options for individuals with disabilities?
Iowa Speedway provides accessible seating, parking and facilities for individuals with disabilities. Tickets are available for wheelchair-accessible and companion seating in multiple locations at the racetrack for purchase here. Accessible seating areas have the closest spectator parking and adjacent accessible facilities (restrooms, retail shops, concession stands, etc.). Does everyone need a ticket to attend Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend?
All fans, regardless of age will require a ticket for admittance on Saturday and Sunday of Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend
- Friday, July 12 - Admission is General Admission only. Everyone regardless of age will be admitted free without a ticket.
- Saturday, July 13 - All reserved seat ticketholders require a ticket for admittance, regardless of age.
- Sunday, July 14 - All reserved seat ticketholders require a ticket for admittance, regardless of age.
What types of tickets are available for purchase?
The following ticket types are available for purchase:
- Race Day Reserved Seat Ticket - Good for admission to the grounds and for designated stand and seat on Saturday, July 13 or Sunday, July 14.
- General Admission - Good for admission to the grounds and for the first-come, first-served grandstands on Friday, July 12. Fans do not need a ticket to enter the venue.
When will my tickets be mailed?
All tickets will be digital tickets. Paper tickets can be purchased for a fee at a designated ticket booth on site during race weekend.
How do I access my Digital tickets?
Digital tickets will be available for Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend ticketholders. Please review our Digital Ticket Guide for more Information on how to access digital tickets.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
Neither the NTT INDYCAR SERIES nor Indy NXT by Firestone in the rain on oval track like Iowa Speedway. If inclement weather forces a cancellation of a specific day’s activities, tickets for that specific day will not be valid on any other date. If the event or any portion of the event is postponed, ticketholders should retain their tickets as they will be honored for gate admission on the postponed date. Suite and hospitality tickets are valid only for the date printed on the ticket and will not be valid for gate admission or grant access to a suite or hospitality area on a postponed date.
Where may I obtain information on parking my RV or automobile?

Are coolers permitted at Iowa Speedway on Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend?
Coolers larger than 14” x 14” x 14” are not permitted in the facility. Coolers must be soft sided and can only contain sealed bottled water and ice.
How will campers located on Turn 3 Terrace/RV Hill at Iowa Speedway be able to watch the pre-race and post-race concerts?
There will be big screens placed and positioned at the Speedway that will allow campers to be able to watch all of the concerts on stage during Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend.
Will there be transportation provided for campers on Turn 3 Terrace/RV Hill to the grandstands for ticketholders?
Ticketholders can either walk from Turn 3 Terrace/RV Hill northwest to the Midway/Beer Garden area to access the grandstands or they take the tram from the check-in station located at the Turn 3 Terrace/RV Hill Camping area to the grandstands.
Are there any shower facilities available on site at Iowa Speedway?
Shower facilities are not available on site at Iowa Speedway. Love’s Travel Stop, located adjacent to Iowa Speedway at 4400 S. 22nd Ave E in Newton, has private shower facilities available and it is open 24 hours a day.
