Thank You for Being a Part of Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend

Following a weekend of unprecedented performances on and off the track, Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend wants to thank everyone for being a part of a very special three-day celebration at Iowa Speedway.

With the support of Hy-Vee and premier partners like DoorDash, Google, PepsiCo. and more, INDYCAR enjoyed a memorable return to Iowa Speedway, July 22-24. The weekend featured the only doubleheader on the 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar – the Hy-VeeDeals.com 250 presented by DoorDash on Saturday and the Hy-Vee Salute to Farmers 300 presented by Google on Sunday. For the first time since 2018, Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires also raced in Iowa with a hotly-contested race on Saturday.

Incredible music and great food added to the fun Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend experience. In front of a sold-out crowd on Saturday, Tim McGraw performed on the trackside Hy-Vee stage before the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race and Florida Georgia Line rocked into the evening with a post-race concert.

On Sunday, Gwen Stefani hosted a matinee performance on the Hy-Vee stage prior to the final NTT INDYCAR SERIES race of the weekend, before her husband – Blake Shelton – closed out the day with a concert following the race that left everyone buzzing.

It was an amazing weekend for Hy-Vee, INDYCAR, the State of Iowa and the City of Newton and Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend wants to thank all the competitors, the partners and the fans for making the inaugural event so special.
